Finally done!

The christening suit is finally finished. It is hard to believe that two garments for a 9-month old could have cost me 4 (!!) weeks of work. It does not look like that much work at all.

Well, I will forget about that and just enjoy the finished product. Everyone liked it, it looked good on the Little One (and she can grow into it a little more) and the wool was absolutely soft!

I took some pictures of it but these are on my father's camera, so they will take quite a while to reach me.

Now off to the next gift! I have 3 more to make this month.

Knitting Block

Or, rather, crochet block. Some weeks ago I startet a christening suit for my little niece. I would finish it in no time, of course!

Well it has taken 4 weeks so far and it never seems to finish. I am not getting on well because the finishing is so fiddly. I could not take any pictures of what it looks like at the moment but maybe it will be better to have a photo of the finished object and forget about the stages in between ...
